1. What data we collect
- Driver applicants: name, contact info, CDL/medical/work history, endorsements, preferences, uploaded documents.
- Carriers: company info, contact name, lanes, equipment, hiring needs, communications.
- Site usage: page views, source attribution (UTM), IP, browser metadata.
2. Why we collect it
To match qualified drivers to vetted carriers, communicate about hiring opportunities, verify eligibility, and improve service quality.
3. How we use it
Recruiters and authorized staff use driver and carrier data to make placement matches, send job opportunities, and conduct screening. We do not sell personal data.
4. How long we store it
- Driver profiles: up to 2 years from last activity
- Documents: up to 1 year after hire
- Carrier submissions: up to 2 years
- Carrier leads: up to 1 year
5. Request deletion
Drivers and carriers may request data access, export, or deletion at any time. Email privacy@otrplacement.com with your full name and phone or email on file.
6. Consent
By submitting the driver application or carrier lead form you consent to be contacted by an OTR Placement recruiter and for your data to be stored and processed for placement purposes. Drivers also consent to background and motor-vehicle record checks where applicable.
